Open | Carbon Dioxide can be utilized as both a suppressing agent and as a propellant. The attached information is provided by Praxair. |
| FM-200 | Open | FM-200 is a "clean agent" fire suppressing gas provided by DuPont Chemical. It is also known as FE-227, HFC-227 or Heptafluoropropane. |
| Halon 1211 | Open | Halon 1211 is a "clean agent" fire suppressing gas also known as BCF, Freon 12B1, or Bromochlorodifluormethane. This gas is unique from (and not to be confused with) Halon 1301. |
| Nitrogen | Open | Nitrogen is used as a propellant for fire suppressing agents in Argus systems. The gas is non-flammable but under high pressure. |
| Dry Chemical | Open | Argus utilizes Amerex "Sodium Bicarbonate SDC" as the fire suppressing agent in its dry chemical systems. It is predominantly a blend of Sodium Bicarbonate and Fullers Earth in addition to Sericite and Silicon Oil. |
