and avoid costly production down time. The Argus Pulsefire water spray
system is specifically designed to protect woodworking dust collection
systems. The system was built to operate in harsh industrial environments,
is backed by a one year Argus warranty, and is approved by Factory Mutual.
The Argus water spray system is easy to operate and easy to maintain. The self-diagnostic
circuitry in the Argus Pulsefire-2 Control Panel is fully supervised and
will provide both a visible and audible alert should a problem occur.

How the System Works
- The Argus Pulse Infrared Spark Detector
continually scans all particles in the duct as it searches for a
spark.
- When a spark passes the detector, it sends
a signal to the control panel, which simultaneously activates the
water spray solenoid valve.
- Water spray fills the
duct within 325 milliseconds after the spark is detected.
The water spray solenoid valve continues to operate for a
pre-programmed number of seconds after each spark passes the detector.
This insures that all sparks in the duct are drawn through the water
curtain and extinguished. The valve then automatically closes to
prevent excessive water build-up in the ducts.
